I stumbled upon an article from Laptop Magazine about who is the most superior web ruler. Google and Yahoo offers great services and features. This time Laptop Magazine took a step in determining the who is the best. Different categories where used to evaluate the two which include, searching, maps, email and calendar and more. Here are the score cards.
Google announces its revenues of $3.66 billion for the first quarter of 2007 while Yahoo ended up with $1.67 billion.

The two bitter rivals battle it out to determine who's the true ruler of the Web
For the past weeks I could not access eaindex.com website. Remember the "Double your money in 100 days!" post I made? I am so sorry but the site is no longer accessible.
I invested 1000 Pesos (20$) and my investment tripled in a few months. Well before I decided to join the "trend" I already put in mind that this is business and anything can happen. That is why I resisted offers of adding another thousands to my investment.
I am not sure if this is really a scam since I have been browsing the internet about it and there is no proof of it as a scam. Perhaps you know something, I would like to know too! Perhaps the site has been barred here in the Philippines for further investigation or something, following the FrankSwiss incident. If that would be the case, then I hope "they" settle it soon. But again all are speculations, we don't really know what is ha penning.
I have referrals who also invested and some office workers who did invest huge amounts. Only time will tell us what will happen next. As for me, I just see it that I spent my 1000 Pesos unwisely like buying useless stuff.
That prevents me from worrying about it.
As far as my new laptop is concern, I have not choice by to end up with Microsoft Vista. I should have known earlier that Acer Aspire 4710Z was build to work perfectly on Microsoft Vista, even Microsoft XP can not bring the laptop to its best performance. When I installed Microsoft Vista, everything works in my laptop. I don't have to worry about all the devices.
I have tried other operating systems, but for a price I can not afford. I hate to say it, but Microsoft had a new client, and thats me. This time Microsoft got the balls.

deux pouces vers le haut !
Two thumbs up!
This time Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker brought fun and laughter to the next level! I was really laughing hard at their hilarious scenes and dialog! It doesn't matter if you haven't seen the previous Rush Hour movies, this one is good already.
Synopsis
In the heart of Paris lies a deadly secret. Half a world away in Los Angeles, Ambassador Han is about to disclose it. In his possession is explosive new evidence about the inner workings of the Triads – the most powerful and notorious crime syndicate in the world. The Ambassador has discovered the identity of Shy Shen, the very crux of the wide-ranging crime ring, and he’s about to reveal it to the World Criminal Court – until he is silenced by an assassin’s bullet.
The Triads will go to any lengths to make sure their secrets stay buried, and there’s only one hope for stopping them …
This summer, LAPD Detective Carter (Chris Tucker) and Chinese Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) are back … back where they don’t belong. The unlikely duo head to the City of Lights to stop a global criminal conspiracy and save the life of an old friend, Ambassador Han’s now-grown daughter, Soo Yung.
They don’t know the city, the language or even exactly what they’re looking for, but their race will take them across the city, from the depths of the Paris underground to the breathtaking heights of the Eiffel Tower, as they fight to outrun the world’s most deadly criminals and save the day.
Prepare for their finest Hour yet.
How I see the movie
The movie was short and the story was quite fast. The story started with a outrageous scene where Chris Tucker is a dancing traffic officer. The fighting scenes and chases are crisp. This movie will truly give you a roller coaster ride of laughter.
I rate this movie a 9 out of 10. It is a worth watching again movie.
Busyness is addictive! The more you get your self busy, the more you like it. I don't like a busy life, a life that seems like you're in an unending race where there is no finish line; but I came to live with it and sees it as an opportunity's way for doing its stuff.
A Masters Students Chronicle
Last week we went to Butuan City. My scheduled trip exceeded a day and caused me to miss my masters class. Actually, it was really a blessing. I was suppose to give a class report on my Organizational Analysis class and my Data Structures class. Honestly, I have been a bad student. I didn't do my homeworks - even until now. Maybe the effect of my "NG" grade in DSS class still rings in my subconcious mind.
We arrived here in Davao last Saturday. I played with my two year old son who asked for a new computer! He's really funny.
My Search For My Next Operating System
My Solaris 10 installer that I requested from Sun Microsystems arrived last week. I got the chance to evaluate the operating system on my new laptop, an Acer Aspire 4710Z. Solaris 10 worked smoothly, except that some of my devices are not working. I can not use my wifi, network connections and audio. I searched for work arounds and only found a few.
I also tried installing Ubunto Linux, Suse Linux and Red Hat Linux. But the installation process failed. I do not have the right HDD driver for Linux. I visited the support site for my laptop and found out that "as for the moment" all their drivers run only on Microsoft Vista and XP. Guess I have no choice but to go back to Microsoft.
Back in the office, my life was so busy. Meetings here, meetings there, meetings everywhere! Whaaaaaah!!!
I have tons of deadlines to beat and reports to pass. I'll be going back to Butuan City on Monday. I will also be going to Manila on the 29th.
Today was a tough one. I heard that "Rush Hour 3" is now showing on theaters. I guess this is a perfect time to unwind.
By the way, Davao City is preparing for next weeks Kadayawan Festival. Street parties and drinking spots are mounting up! I'll be visiting these places soon.
The phrase means, "It's Butuan Day!"
Araw ng Butuan is a local non-working holiday. Offices are closed - especially government offices. Since I am in Butuan now, guess I have the opportunity to join Butuanenios celebrate the 57th year of their city.
Best Float
We witnessed a float parade early this morning featuring different beautifully crafted floats representing different government offices and groups. The best float I selected best is Bargonomics'. Its a party float with a DJs booth and a mini bar and a lot of party people.
Street Parties
I noticed that several streets were closed on our way home to the hotel, we heard there would be street parties tonight. Well the team are going to check it out!
Rock Butuan! Rock!
Last night we went to Jullian's Place. Its another nice spot to hangout here in Butuan City. They have a restaurant and a cozy place for your friends to chat and drink. One thing that I noticed is that Julian's place is not so accessible. You better have an own transportation if you want to party for long hours.
We have been busy looking for a fully furnished apartment. We found some candidates, but the search is not yet over. Hope we can find one today.
