Last night my wife and I watched the premier of Transformers 2007. The cinema was full and all of the seats were occupied. We almost ran out of seats, luckily we found one at the middle topmost portion of the balcony. I do not like our location, but I have no choice.
The Movie
I could say that Transformers 2007 is one of the best movies I have ever watched. The cinematography was excellent, the visual effects are superb, and the story line is just right.
It was a blend of intense fighting scenes and a touch of comedy and drama.
The creators did a great job in combining the distant future setting of the Transformers to our present day setting. The movie showcased some of the hottest cars, the latest military warfare technology and cool IT gadgets. Not to mention a hot babe like Megan Fox.
I like how they portray Bumble Bee as a Camino Corvette instead of a Beetle car, it added fashion and power to the character. Other Transformer characters also took a different an much better form, Wrench was a Hummer2 ambulance, Iron Hide was a masculine GMC truck. My favorite Decepticon character Starscream was an F22 fighter.
I am a fan of Transformers and I know how challenging it is to create a movie from the cartoon series.
At first I was skeptic at the movie, "is it going to be just like the Transformers I used to watch?", but it surpassed my expectations.
The movie was really good that you wont notice its 144 minute play.
Synopsis
The interstellar battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rains destruction down on planet Earth as director Michael Bay adapts Hasbro and Takara's popular Transformers franchise into a big-budget, live-action summer tentpole extravaganza in this ambitious sci-fi action feature starring Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Bernie Mac, John Turturro, John Voight, and, of course, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Enormous aliens have chosen the third rock from the sun as their ultimate battleground, and as the villainous Decepticons struggle to obtain the key to unlimited power, a young Earthling named Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) may stand as mankind's last hope for survival.

Overall the movie was a great success.
I give Transformers 2007 a 10 out of 10 rating. It is a worth watching again movie.
When we get out from the cinema, I saw viewers falling in lines and waiting for their turn. Not like the kind of viewers shown on tv who are shouting and screaming for their movie idols, but viewers who loves Transformers and who knows what a a good movie is.
They are about to see one of the best movies ever.
true enough. A must-watch-again movie. perfect 10!
Posted by Ai at June 30, 2007, 11:11 amI saw my first Transformers series when I was 7 years old. Thats 20 years ago. I think you can find episodes of Transformers the series in video stores now that the movie is making waves worldwide.
yah it was a wonderful movie which made me genuinely respect Michael Bay the director. it was a wonderful mix of comedy and action. the one thing that i could not understand was why bring the CUBE to the city and have their machine war their when they can bring the CUBE to the dessert and fight there… *scratches head*
Posted by xKlassmate at July 4, 2007, 7:07 pmif i followed it correctly, diba they requested an air cover/strike using the morse code. all computer systems were down during that time due to some virus planted by the decepticons. so there are no cellular phones working.
they need to have a short range (analog) radio to communicate to the fighters. the only place they can buy such equipment is in the city.
all i can say is that twice namin sya pinanood ni wilmon and it’s all worth it
I’m watching it tomorrow! Hopefully I’ll enjoy it just as much.

true enough! A must-watch-again movie! hehe! I agree to everything you’ve written about the movie. I’m not a transformer fan, but watching the movie made me wish I watched the cartoon series before so I’d get to know the characters better.
